Over the last week, we have had the opportunity to learn some of Peru’s rich history and culture while also visiting some of the most breath-taking landmarks!
However, we have also had moments of deep lament learning about the political violence in Peru from 1980-2000 and the marginalization/disregard of indigenous communities.
Next Saturday, we will be traveling to our service sites, where we will remain for the rest of the YAV year. Please join us in prayer as we continue to prepare our hearts, minds, and souls for the work God has called us to- pray that our hearts will be big enough to give, open enough to receive, and strong enough to weather the many transitions.
